Greater Bend Rotary - A Message from the Club President

As President, I’m proud to be heading this group of community “leaders of leaders” and carrying on the service commitment that our club has provided both locally and internationally since 1976. Our goal continues to be to positively impact the lives of families (with an emphasis on children and youth) through both community and internationally focused efforts.

We are a club of approximately 120 dedicated professionals who give their time and money to help make our community and the world a better place. At the same time, I consider us a “family” of individuals that come together to enjoy camaraderie, fellowship and stimulating weekly presentations.

In 2012-13 we will be taking on even more community ‘hands-on’ projects that will provide specific improvements to youth-related agencies. In addition, we’ll be looking for ways to further the awareness of our club’s activities, and spread the Rotary message of “service above self.”
